About

I’m Odion Ikyo. I empower stay-at-home moms to unlock their full potential and monetize their skills, passions, and talents.

In 2012, I lost my sister to pregnancy and childbirth complications. This devastating loss sparked a passion within me to advocate for women’s and girls’ reproductive health rights. I founded Theodora Anavhe Adamu Foundation in her memory, dedicated to empowering individuals and communities.

As I became a mom, I faced new challenges. Balancing motherhood and work was overwhelming, and I had to take a break from my career to focus on my family. During this time, I created  Motherhood Diaries Connect a community on Facebook and Instagram, to share my experiences and connect with fellow moms.

When my child was ready for school, we chose homeschooling, partly due to concerns about his speech delays at that time and also because we were concerned if the caregivers in the schools around us would understand his tantrums. This journey led me to build the Yakira community for homeschooling moms named after the Hebrew word for ‘precious,’ ‘costly,’ and ‘beloved.’

As my children grew, I sought to re-enter the workforce. However, I faced the harsh reality that no one waits for you when you take a break as a mom. Determined to help others in similar situations, I now empower stay-at-home moms to earn and contribute financially to their families.

Join me on this journey, and let’s support each other in our pursuit of passion, purpose, and financial freed
